Clyde and Olga were divorced in Oct of 1931.
From a Kansas City paper:
Clyde Gaunce, 78, Kansas City, Kan., died Saturday at Bethany Medical Center.
He was born in Louisberg, Kan., and lived in Kansas City, Kan., most of his
life. Mr. Gaunce was a plumber and repairman before he retired. He leaves his
wife, Mrs. Gertrude A. Gaunce of the home; two sons, Donald Gaunce, Kansas
City, Kan., and Herbert Gaunce, Los Angeles; a stepdaughter, Millie Leavell,
Mission; two brothers, Lee Gaunce, Kansas City, Kan. and George Gaunce,
Laurie,Mo.; a sister, Mrs.Zola Jacobs, Kansas City, Kan,; seven grandchildren;
and four great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Fulton
Nickel Chapel; burial in Memorial Park Cemetery, Kansas City, Kan. Friends may
call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the chapel. The family suggests contributions
tot he Kansas Head Injury Association.
