Notes for Kip Carson WHITLOCK

Kip started school in Alamogordo, New Mexico and graduated from high school in
1976 from Santa Fe High School. During his junior and senior high school years
he enjoyed tennis and participated in many tournaments. He attended New Mexico
State University and graduated from there in 1981 with a degree in mass media
communication. He couldn't wait to get out of New Mexico and went to
California where he worked at various TV stations as an intern and gofer while
making professional contacts that would aid him later with his career. In
October 1985 he moved from California to West Palm Beach, Florida and got a job
as a reporter for a local TV station. He advanced in his career finally getting
a job with NBC in Miami and then moving to New York City when MS-NBC started,
and on to the national and international desk for NBC as Senior Editor.
