To Unplaced GAUNCE surnames
They primarily consist of a group of Loyalists that were in Nova Scotia in the 1750's; the information came from the LDS IGI files. They seem to start with Jeremiah GAUNCE, b.1751, d.1821 in Canada.
The other group of unknown GAUNCE people seems to start in Pensylvania and migrate to Kentucky in the late 1700's. This group seems to start with Nicholas GAUNCE, b.1740, d.ca 1816 in KY.
We've provided notes with each FGR so you might be able to see the sources for these people. We would appreciate any additional information you might have on these people, expecially any connections you might be able to find to our GAUNCE line of Indiana and Missouri.
